Bonnie Thompson

Executive Director
Bonnie graduated from Spearman High School in 1991. She attended Oklahoma Panhandle State University where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English.  Bonnie worked for Hope for Tomorrow, a private foster/adoption agency, for over 10 years where she worked in four different positions. Working for Hope for Tomorrow led her and her son, Brenen, to move from Abilene, Texas to Early, Texas where she worked at the corporate office. Bonnie left the agency to pursue a career with the Texas Juvenile Justice Department as a case worker on the female capital offender dorm at Ron Jackson State Juvenile Correctional Facility before transferring to the education department working as the Program Director in Education.  Bonnie and her son moved back to Spearman in June 2018 as she accepted the Executive Director’s position at the Spearman Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Corporation. She also serves as the Secretary on the Spearman Athletic Booster Club. Bonnie says she enjoys working with the Spearman community, local business owners, and potential future business owners. ​

Lila Flores

Administrative Assistant
Lila was born in Amarillo, Texas. She was raised in Perryton, Texas. Lila graduated from Perryton High School in 1989 and went to Houston Baptist University for a year. Shen came back to Perryton where she married  Ben Flores in November 1990. Lila has two kids, Sheana and Bo, who have grown up to be amazing young adults. Sheana is married and lives in Amarillo Texas and works for AIG working with Unclaimed Funds Department.  Bo lives in Dodge City, Kansas and is a Sous Chef for Prime on the Nine Restaurant. Lila went back to college at Oklahoma Panhandle State University where she studied education after a few years there, she decided to finish her college degree at West Texas A & M University. She received her Bachelor's Degree At WT in General Studies.  Lila has been a Bookkeeper/Tax Preparer for 30 years. She also taught for over 17 years before deciding to leave the education world.  She enjoys crafting, singing, traveling, and being with her family.  This scripture is one of several that she lives by everyday. Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

Jennifer Ooley

President/Women's Divison
​Spearman Independent School District

Jennifer Ooley was born and raised right here in Spearman, Texas.  She attended Spearman High School where she was active in cheerleading, basketball, track, golf, and FFA.  She graduated from Spearman High School in 2001 and continued her higher education at Oklahoma Panhandle State University where she pursued a degree in Science and obtained a Bachelor’s of Science degree in 2009.  Jennifer is now a 5th grade science teacher at Gus Birdwell Elementary and absolutely LOVES her students.  Jennifer is married to Justin Ooley and together they have two daughters:  Addison and Kambrea.

Cody Rogers

Vice President
Texas True Threads/Sportzone

Cody Rodgers has been raised in Spearman Texas. He is the only child of Misty Garrett. He graduated from Spearman High School in 2017. He now works for Texas True Threads, The Sportzone. He enjoys being apart of this community and supporting the Lynx and Lynxettes. Cody was honored when asked to join the Chamber board.

Lesa Moffett

Secretary
​First National Bank 

Lesa Moffett grew up in the Amarillo/Canyon area. In high school, she was very involved in FFA and graduated in 1991. She has been married to Johnny for 32 years, and they have two grown children, Whitney and Colton. Lesa has been a resident of Gruver since 1997 and has served in the Alpha Mu Psi sorority and as president of the Gruver Greyhound Booster Club. Lesa was a rodeo and sports mom for several years while her children were young and now enjoys reading, traveling and family time.  Lesa started working at First National Bank in 2000 and is currently a credit officer with her 21 years of banking experience, but she has also worked in her family’s retail stores in Canyon and Guymon. She looks forward to serving on the chamber board and is excited for the future of Spearman and Hansford County.

Bob Johnson

Individual Board Member 
Bob was born in New York on a dairy farm. After spending years as an infantryman with the United States Army, he became a manager for Walmart, spending 12 years with them. In 2007 he moved to Spearman. Bob says he loves to help out people and his community and does this by serving on the Chamber Board.

Sandi Carbajal

Board Member
R&S Quickstop

Sandi is the daughter of Ruben and Sandra Carbajal. She was born in Perryton, Texas, but she was raised in Spearman, Texas. She graduated from Spearman High School and attended West Texas A&M for a couple of years. She currently manages the family business, R&S Quick Stop. Sandi is a very active member of her church community at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She is outgoing and loves spending time with her German Shephard, Jax, meeting new people, and volunteering for events. Sandi looks forward to being a part of the Chamber Board of Directors and is excited to be a new positive change for her community.

Toby Thompson

​​Toby grew up in Spearman, Texas moving from Sunray when he was in the 1st grade. He graduated from Spearman High School in 1994 and McMurry University in 2000. Toby moved back to Spearman in April 2008 after accepting a job at Five Star Equipment where he is the parts department manager. Toby married Brandi Ingram-Thompson in August 2007, and they have two wonderful children, Sailee and Greyson. Sailee attends Blinn Junior College, and Greyson is in the 2nd grade at Spearman Elementary School. Toby is honored to be on the Chamber Board and is looking forward to working with the other board members and doing great things for his community.

Suzanne Bellsnyder

Suzanne Bellsnyder is a veteran consultant who has more than 20 years of experience in political and public affairs. Suzanne has worked on various local, state and national campaigns. She has managed administrative and fundraising strategies for non-profit organizations. She has served in various roles in state and local government. Suzanne worked at the State Capitol, as a Chief of Staff, and has worked as a political consultant, as a economic development director, as a city manager and now resides in her hometown in rural Texas where she's also involved in her family's agricultural business. She was born and raised in the Texas Panhandle and her passion is to work on projects that are beneficial to the Panhandle and West Texas.
